Variations and trends in seasonal heating and cooling degree-days, as well as in number of heating and cooling days are studied for five stations located in different climatic regions of Croatia (Osijek, Zagreb-Grič, Gospić, Crikvenica i Hvar). The parameters are determined for three relevant thresholds during the period 1901-2008. Variations are analyzed as anomalies from 1961-1990 averages, and by means of their 11-year moving average series. Statistical significance of trends is indicated by means of non-parametric Mann-Kendall rank test.
